Well, not sure. I have IE (through AOL). Sounds nice, wish it worked with that.
Too bad one can't write browser plug-ins. If that worked with an IE plug-in, then no need for worrying about doing a Win Help File as it sounds it could do most of the functionality (cross-referencing) that one would want.
But, again, I am talking through my hat, being unfamiliar with what you are discussing. ;-) If it's possible someday more browsers might support it, it might not be a totally wasted effort.
